Sarko Mutafyan (b. 1995, Bulgaria) is a photographer currently living and working in England. His work primarily deconstructs social and domestic environments and their surrounding behaviours through the use of still images, archival material and video.
With an interest in contemporary society as both a conscious and subconscious product of the past, he expands on themes of cultural dissociation, fragmented family narratives and border territories in relation to his upbringing in Eastern Europe.
